CO2 PACMAN Rooting Lab
The first CO2 Pacman Rooting Lab in Brač brought together around 100 participants, including climate change experts, national policymakers, and representatives from local and regional authorities, to address crucial environmental issues. The event placed a spotlight on the new Law on Islands, which is currently being drafted, emphasizing the need for Croatian islands to work together to reduce CO2 levels.
Held from September 17-19, 2024, the three-day event featured workshops in Split and Supetar (Brač), aiming to foster collaboration between project partners and local stakeholders. The agenda was packed with workshops, a Youth Think Tank, brainstorming sessions, study visits, and the exchange of best practices—all driven by the spirit of cooperation and co-creation.
A special thank you goes to Splitsko-dalmatinska županija and the Sdewes Centre for hosting and supporting this pivotal event.
Next Stop: Crete, where the work will continue from the 9th to the 11th of October 2024. Stay tuned for more updates and exciting developments!
