The CO2 PACMAN Business Forum in Valencia has officially wrapped

Over 30 expert speakers, startups, public authorities, and impact investors from 7 European countries came together to turn 55 innovative proposals (including one from Bulgaria) into real solutions for the Mediterranean’s most urgent climate challenges.

From tackling sustainable mobility and water scarcity to managing plastic waste and building carbon-neutral events, bold ideas were shared—and concrete action has begun.

The islands of Brač, Crete, and Elba presented 9 real-world challenges, and innovators rose to the occasion with scalable, smart, and sustainable answers.

The result?

• A replicable model for islands across the Mediterranean—and beyond.

• Stronger public-private partnerships.

• Connections between innovation and green investment.

• A living example of how open innovation drives climate action.
