Engaging forms of science learning
In addition to traditional educational programs, interesting and engaging forms of science learning were presented during the study trip to Trondheim, Norway.
The Science Center in Trondheim is an experiential centre educating children and youth in Trondheim. It is part of the Vitensenter science centre network.
The University of Trondheim’s Grade 9 Biology Trail is one of several trails the university offers to local schools. Students spend half a day exploring scientific phenomena through a route (“trail”). In the biology track, the “Zero Waste School” project team learned about plants and insects and finally made an individual “DNA chain”.
