Engaging forms of science learning

In addition to traditional educational programs, interesting and engaging forms of science learning were presented during the study trip to Trondheim, Norway.

🏨 The Science Center in Trondheim is an experiential centre educating children and youth in Trondheim. It is part of the Vitensenter science centre network.

The University of Trondheim’s Grade 9 Biology Trail is one of several trails the university offers to local schools. Students spend half a day exploring scientific phenomena through a route (“trail”). In the biology track, the “Zero Waste School” project team learned about plants and insects and finally made an individual “DNA chain”.
